If this is the plan, we can forgive him not fighting Miranda.
Right. But how big a chance is there for a Calzaghe rematch? Slimmer than a straw.

The first fight was not nearly close enough for the public to demand a rematch. Look for Calzaghe to take on RJJ after B-hop (REMEBER: you read it first here.)

Your probably right. Would have loved to see Kessler gain a lot of recognition in US fighting first Miranda and then Taylor. But now is seems that Teampalle has manage to piss of Dibella.

I always got my boys back, like I always say.

But I think he should've fought Miranda, just as a tune-up fight, because Mirandas got alot of power, but besides that he's no threat to Mikkel at all. Stop Miranda in the 9th round and then fight and beat Mundine in the states, go over to Canada and beat Bute, beat Taylor.. Just beat any super middleweight in the divison, he can do that. I'm suprised he's gonna move up, 168 could've been HIS domain after Calzaghe moved up. I can't really see the point of chasing him for a rematch if that's what he's trying to do. But clean out the super middleweight divison, move up and see how well he does in light heavyweight. He would probaly rule that divison too, I know I sound like a nuthugger LOL! but seriosuly, by the time he moved up, names like Hopkins, Calzaghe, Johnson, Tarver .. They're retired.

Really, this is simple. There is way more money to be made at Light Heavy. Kessler is in the point in his career that he wants to get paid and I dont blame him. Fighting Miranda would do little for him financially and pose as too much of a risk. But, believe me when i say this. Kessler would not get knocked out by Miranda. It would have been a one sided beatdown in Mikkel's favor.

This guy won't make it at light heavyweight. The only reason he even had a super middleweight paper title was because Calzaghe was to much of a Nancy to try and unify the division earlier.

As a Kessler fan, I don't want to see him against Dawson, because I don't think he can win... Dawson is bigger in every way, and at least as good. A good big man always beats a good smaller man...
