They are both very good fighters.

Pavlik may not have the best technique or arsenal but he finds ways to win and imposes his will on his opponents. There's a reason why he's considered one of the top 10 pound for pound in the sport. He's elite in the sport right now but in history....no.

Taylor's is a great athlete but I don't think he's used the most of his athleticism, which is a shame because he could be a much better fighter than what we have seen in the past. I don't consider him to be elite because he's coming off of 2 losses and several controversial decision.

Pavlik skillset and ring smarts are severely underestimated. If it weren't for these two factors his power and will wouldn't look as good. But if you belive Pavlik is one dimensional brawler that's on you.

        Your making me sick.

Both Mundine and Bute would destroy Taylor.

I dont' care what i sound like. Its time Americans get some knowledge.....

Mundine would outpoint Taylor, Bute would stop him.

        Enough said...

If Jermain Taylor had a higher workrate he would have beaten Pavlik

its clear as day to anyone that the way to beat Pavlik is movement/angles and speed ,cause as Floyd Mayweather says he is straight up and down no special effects

Yeh but from a technical level.

Pavlik has no combinations other than the 1 2's, his power is good. But hes limited. Taylor, lets be honest hes ugly to watch.

Both these fighters are not technically brilliant. All Calzaghe, Kessler, Mundine and Bute are.....

If Jermain had a higher work rate he would've gotten himself knocked out.
I do believe you that speed and angles are the way to go but you have to be some special type of fighter to pull it off. Joe can, I would think that Chad too, but Chad might be a lil chinny.

Listen I like Bute and have been following his career but Bute does not like pressure, he gets too defensive. I think Pavlik is a terrible matchmaking for Bute, he'll get mowed down.

Ultimateboxa i was'nt replying to your post , i think Pavlik is one dimmensional he is very good at what he does though

i dont know enough about Bute & Mundine to make a prediction but Kessler is to smart for Pavlik ,Calzaghe would beat him by wide decision that goes without saying

Being technically brilliant means ****. It's how you get it done. And Pavlik is obviously an elite Middleweight. You are comparing him to fighters in a bigger weight classes.

Nationalism is a problem among boxing fans, we get it.
