Pavlik is underrated imo. Except for the 2nd round in the Taylor fight (which he recovered from really well) he has never looked close to losing a fight. In his last fight with Taylor he showed he can work behind the jab well and that he has a lot of stamina. I don't rate Taylor too highly though...

Mundine is not that good a fighter, He is very tough, and he has some good boxing ability, but he lacks so badly in every other department. Pavlik would DEFINETLY get rid of him. Kessler would have done it if he had some power.

Bute is NOT good on the inside. He is decent, but in Pavlik you are looking at one of the best in fighters in all of boxing. Thats where he wins fights. He'll be anybody on the inside from 160-168.

Pavlik also definetly has better defense then Calzaghe and Mundine, he is a very good defensive fighter when he wants to be. Look at Pavlik-Taylor 1 and 2. He got hit like what? 10-15 times flush the entire second fight?? and outside of round 2 in the first fight, he got hit flush what? 4 or 5 times?

Pavlik hits much harder then Bute and Calzaghe and Mundine, he is much more accurate. Has a stronger jab, is probably tougher, and is by far the best finisher in boxing.

All of those guys against Pavlik are very good close even fights

Where is that thread most ******est things u have heard on NSB LMAO

Hopkins never been better than Calzaghe. Hopkins resume makes calzaghe's look like he's been fighting in the under twelve division. jesus christ. Hopkins is a legend!!!

Good analysis. Both Taylor's wins over Hopkins were questionable. Then he went on a little streak of fights that were as fun to watch as eating a pile of ****. He has the potential to still be a really good fighter I think.

In their primes I don't think so, but that will be an ongoing argument. I really don't like JC that much but I am going to put money on a parlay of JC win and to go twelve rounds.

Pavlik is a good fighter but Elite im not sure about that ,Miranda is 'nt Elite by any stretch the guy cant even win a World Title Belt ,as for Taylors win over Hopkins they were very debatable allthough personally i thought he won but that was an old Hopkins aswell that Taylors style was made for ,Jermain Taylor looks a million dollars if u dont preassurise him & let him fight at his own pace & allow to get his jab off

Toney ,Hopkins ,RJJ ,Calzaghe , i dont see Pavlik beating any of these fighters in their prime and they to me are Elite fighters ,Pavlik is very good though and im a fan but lets get into perspective

He dominated Bika, and Calzaghe didn't look too good, but I guess styles make fights. Bute is good, mark the words.

Taylor is definitely elite. Pavlik on the other hand caught Taylor on an off night and in the rematch was given a hometown decision. Pavlik by far is one of the most overrated fighters in recent history. It's a disgrace.

Bute and Kessler are just as powerful on the inside and better on the out.

Calzaghe is better in every department.

America = Is not watching the best fighters.
First off..Winky is still better than any of the euro fighters at middle/supermidleweight in every dept. 2ndly other than lacy on a couple of occasions noone's really been good enough to truly test Galzaghe's chin. Pavlik slow as he is has a good enough jab to set up some combos that'll get by galzaghe's defenses to test his chin. But like the saying goes.. thats why they fight the fights.
