The way I see it, is that Floyd did his thing at 130 and 135, no doubt about it. After that it's pretty unspectacular. At 140 he beats gatti for a belt which was stripped from Tzyu. He moves up to WW and hits the Lottery by being in position to be WW champ by fighting BAldomir.


Cotto needs to win against Gomez in spectacular fashion most preferably by brutal KO. However, by doing so that will probably make Floyd less eager to fight him. I just want the self proclaimed "GREATEST fighter of ALL time" to fight the guys that will make that staement true. Is that too much to ask?

i agree that Floyd should fight Cotto but u guys make me sick saying Cotto is the man at WW, why?? he beat Judah & Mosley?? WTF , Mayweather woulda outboxed Mosley also, Mosley Coulda beat Cotto IMO had he fought the last few rounds.

The fight won't happen. Floyd recently said in an interview he won't fight the younger stars anymore. HE said he doesn't want them to milk him and if they want to make it big they have to do it on themselves. Kinda makes sense. Floyd isn't in his prime nomore, he's 31. Oh he also said that he could be talked into rematching Oscar or Hatton.

At this point Floyd is picking his fights.

What does Floyd mean not wanting the other guys to milk him? He is what he is today because of OSCAR!!! When he fought Gatti on PPV the numbers where there because of GATTI!

We'll never know if Mayweather would have outboxed Mosley cause it NEVER happened. Cotto is undefeated and in his prime, that is why he is the man. Margarito lost against Williams. Willimas lost against Quintana , who lost to Cotto. Cintron lost to Williams , who lost to Quintana , who lost to Cotto.


Cotto is the logical choice.

Floyd is a great fighter , i won't hate but I also won't defend his actions. The only fight at WW that matters in order to sort out the mess is Floyd vs Cotto. Floyd gave Bruseles, Mitchell,Ndou,Corley etc opportunities but why not Cotto? Oscar gave you the opportunity and that fight has made you rich and brought you fame. Step up and take on the most worthy fighter in the WW division and may the best fighter WIN.


Remember when Oscar was at WW and fighting those guys like Sweet Pea, Quartey, and Trinidad. Imagine if Oscar refused to fight these guys and claimed to be the best. He would get laughed at. What if Oscar said " I won't fight Quartey because he is a nobody and brings nothing to the table" Oscar would get ripped apart. Oscar took risks at WW against guys that were on his level and took the fights, risking a defeat.

Cotto is in his prime and Floyd is in his prime , so Why is this fight not happening?

Mayweather has been in the game 6 years longer and is 3 years older..
I have changed my mind about having this fight happen now..
I'm willing to wait a year or two

If you had any points I would take all of them after the fight. Look at that "richest users" list about a week after the fight and see me on top, Floyd by UD 1 year 2 or 3 years from now.
