    Floyd,fight Cotto this yr!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Floyd is a great fighter , i won't hate but I also won't defend his actions. The only fight at WW that matters in order to sort out the mess is Floyd vs Cotto. Floyd gave Bruseles, Mitchell,Ndou,Corley etc opportunities but why not Cotto? Oscar gave you the opportunity and that fight has made you rich and brought you fame. Step up and take on the most worthy fighter in the WW division and may the best fighter WIN.

Remember when Oscar was at WW and fighting those guys like Sweet Pea, Quartey, and Trinidad. Imagine if Oscar refused to fight these guys and claimed to be the best. He would get laughed at. What if Oscar said " I won't fight Quartey because he is a nobody and brings nothing to the table" Oscar would get ripped apart. Oscar took risks at WW against guys that were on his level and took the fights, risking a defeat.

Cotto is in his prime and Floyd is in his prime , so Why is this fight not happening?

postponing the fight only gives Cotto the advantage..
The longer he waits, the harder the fight will be for Money May.
    Don't trip son.

I agree. That's why I like Cotto's chances. IF the fight happens, it will be in 2009, with Floyd having only one fight in more than a year, and he'll be one year older, while Miguel will be still be prime, only more experienced.

Even when Oscar was prime, people didn't really consider him untouchable. Even if he had to take some of those losses along the way, he was willin to fight all comers to boost his rep. Floyd is addicted to the 0 on his record and the whole p4p thing, so he's not so willing to take a risk just yet. All his fame and activities on the side are attached to his status as this unbeaten super boxer. If he gets beat, it all goes away. He's only been mainstream for a little while and he wants to live it up. He'll face Cotto within the next year when he has no other choice but to do so. He can win the fight, but he could also lose it, so he ain't willin to jump into it until he has to. Cuz he has the Ring belt, he knows Cotto needs him more than vice versa so he can get away with makin Cotto wait for a little while longer.

Postponing the fight can only make people want to see it more. Not hurting Floyd. It would hurt him to fight DLH again though.

Floyd and Cotto are close in age. Unless they were around Mosley's age it wouldn't hurt Floyd.

Mayweather has been in the game 6 years longer and is 3 years older..
I have changed my mind about having this fight happen now..
I'm willing to wait a year or two

Whenever Cotto wants to lose he can get it. When Floyd stops being lazy he'll be glad to give Cotto a nice 1 under that loss column.

I understand about waiting and making the fight bigger, but that's WACK! What do we have to wait for, what reason? Cotto is the #1 challenger if not the best in the division. Floyd is recognized as the champ based on beating Baldomir which is like being at the right place at the right time.

Pavlik and Taylor were in thier primes and threw down twice. They didn't wait and ****. Just make the damn fight !!
