Cotto is the best welter weight in the world and would kick Floyds ass.
judah and baldo were both the previous #1's at welter before mayweather. but anyways, I would like to see mayweather cotto as well, but if cotto wants to, he could overtake mayweather as the #1 welter if he fights alot of the top welterweights and beats them which he hasn't done yet. Like williams, margarito, cintron.... why are his up comming fights against gomez and mayorga? he isn't exactly trying to earn a shot at mayweather nor have I heard him call out mayweather as of yet.

Its not about Oscar's chances of winning, more than it is, Floyd wasting precious time fighting an inactive fighter/promoter. That's the problem most of us have with this rematch. I wont be surpised if Oscar edges out a controversial SD so that they can set up a 3rd bout.

Yeah , your right, he should fight top WW's like Floyd did with Baldomir.

His upcoming fight against Gomez is a stay busy fight while he awaits to take on the winner of Cintron/Margarito. That's what Bob Arum has planned out for Cotto this year. I dont know where that Mayorga rumor came from. Although, it would definitely be an exciting matchup.

Oh, btw, Cotto and Arum both stated that they were interested in a fight with Floyd, but Floyd seems to be the one avoiding Cotto. Arum said that when he see's Floyd is ready and interested, then he will sit down and negotiate.

I just want to see them fight, this yr preferably.

If Money May continues fighting , who are his opponents if he doesn't fight Cotto. What fighter do you see him targeting to cement his status as greatest ever.
