Arum, Top Rank Hit Back at Mayweather Suit

As reported last week, Floyd Mayweather Jr. filed a lawsuit against his former promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, in a Las Vegas court. Mayweather claims that Arum still owes him money for pay-per-view fights against Arturo Gatti (2005) and Zab Judah (2006). He claims that Arum has refused to provide him with the accounting figures to estimate how much he's owed from each fight, which Mayweather says is 85% of Top Rank's revenue from the Gatti card and 80% from event with Judah. How would it be possible for the FIGHTER to owe the Promoter money, unless the fighter broke contract?

If that is the case watch Mayweather drop his claim right quick. Who knows, if this is indeed true Arum and Top Rank may pursue Mayweather even if he did drop that claim. How ironic would that be. His greed for money costs him millions.

This is all probably bogus. As much of a vendetta as Arum has against Mayweather, why would he have procrastinated filing suit? ESPECIALLY since Mayweather has no issue flaunting his wealth and making known how much money he has.

I do believe Arum may owe Mayweather something. This should all get interesting.

I dont know about this being interesting. I'd rather see Floyd fight Cotto in the ring, rather than watch Floyd fight Arum in court.

                    I agree.

I do think this will get interesting. Someone is being dishonest.
