Ignorant, thick, American. These words all describe you.

Calzaghe is in a division which has been dominated by Europeans over the years. Calzaghe has beaten EVERYONE worth mentioning even Americans such as Jeff Lacy.Just because you have never seen Joe on HBO untill recently it doesn't mean it's because he's no good, it means that Joe is NOT American which is why he fought on UK TV.

Calzaghe's competition is just a good as Pacquiaos, the fact Pacmans was American or Mexican doesn't mean they are better.

Even a great boxer like JMM struggles with Pacquiao and I don't think Calzaghe is anywhere near as good as JMM.
This is flat out silly.Pac is not that skilled...he's getting much better but still fairly one dimensional. He is explosive as **** but then takes a minute off nearly every round. Anyway Pac hasn't fought any one with Joes skill level.....Joe is one of the best fighters and most skillful fighters in the world easily. This whole topic is silly and opinionated.....p4P is merely a matter of opinion and has no real bearing on anything.

There is no set criteria. Based on my criteria (skill and accomplishments) Calzaghe is a distant 3rd.

to all you saying joe has more skills than pac and would beat him if they were the same weight, that can be true. but p4p is not all that. how would you closely measure a fantasy fight? by looking at their opponents and how they were tested against true adversity. and in this case, you really cant compare joe's opposition against pac. jmm, mab, morales are all p4p higher than all of joes opponents.

joe was nowhere near the top10 before he beat kessler, and now he's #2 after 1 fight? ahead of a consistently #2 p4p pac?

I had Joe at #7 or 8, don't remember which, after the way he mauled Lacy. The Manfredo and Bika fights didn't do much for him advancing, but I had picked Kessler to win and I was truly impressed with the way Joe was able to handle the younger fighter. That's when I moved him up to #2, especially after Pac fought Oscar Larios two weight classes above the highest he'd ever fought, an old Morales in the rubber match, a showcase fight with Jorge Solis, and an over-the-hill Barrera. The Marquez fight is the first in five fights where Pacquiao was actually fighting a live underdog. That's the reason I had him at #3 instead of #2.

The fact is Pacquiao consistently beats fighter who are more technically skilled than him. If he's one dimensional, that one dimension is good enough.

You gotta love people still taking Sin's bait even after all this time , well I had Marquez winning that fight and if Pacman lost I would have Calzaghe at 2 but he didn't so im confused i'll just leave Pacman at 2!
