Its was close fight... but I have Pac 114-113 or 115-112. The media were even split.

It's because he fought at his own backyard and he fought weak fighters.

are there any good enough fighters at SM?

If he wants to prove it.. he should move up to Light Heavy a long time ago.... and fight Roy.

Some might say that you demonstrate your skills against your opposition, and that's true, but you can plainly see Joe has the skills to pay the bills. It's not easy defending your title 21 consecutive times.

Now, Pac is a close #3, tho. I don't argue with anyone who has him at #2, either, because, IMHO, they are very close. Pac has improved his defense and his right hand, which is a big factor to consider now. However, I did have Marquez winning the fight this weekend (by one point), so it's hard for me to justify having Pac over Joe when Pac squeaked by with a close decision win.

But to say that someone who doesn't have Pac at #2 doesn't know a thing about boxing is ridiculous.
i think your rediculous and anyone else who has joe calzaghe at 2..
      are you serious?
the pacman has beaten ELITE fighters for the past few yrs.
joe calzaghe fought 3-4 worthy opponents in his whole career.. notice how i didnt say elite.. the only fighter elite fighter hes beaten is kessler..(in their prime)
joe has taken the easy way in his career, pacman hasnt. he fought every1..
LOL.. its WHO you fight.. thats what determines the best fighters.. and for the record JMM is a p4p fighter so it was a HARD ass fight.. i had manny winning by 1 point.. but i was rooting for marquez...

Roy is a joke now....Calzaghe would destroy him. Like I said to each is own, I disagree with you.

I don't buy those washed up/shot excuses. They are not on their prime but they are not shot.

Lacy is an overrated. You can compare that against Barrera's level.

Kessler is only Joe's biggest win.
You have both of those results wrong......JMM beat Barrera easily and Morales lost to Diaz......

this is one of the few times i will disagree with raesaad..
i used to hate the pac fans on this ****in site.. but katz is right on this..
calz has fought the ****tiest opposition.. manny has also beated barerra a few years ago as well.. gave morales a fight of his life and then beat him twice.. and has fought TOP contenders..
joe is a good fighter, but p4p joe is like 5 at best..

What I mean when Roy was at the top of his game. While Joe was just contented fighting weak fighters at home.

What does Pacman do better than Joe?

                Just interested.

                    That's not the question.

The question is who is the better fighter.

What does Pacman have that if they fought and were the same size would mean that he was out of Joe's league.

Pacman is a beast. He overwhelms people. Joe would old man him.

How can anyone say Calzaghe would beat Pacquiao at equal weight when for one, Calzaghe has never fought anyone close to the skill level of Pacquiao, and second, he's never fought anyone with Pacquiao's speed or style. Even a great boxer like JMM struggles with Pacquiao and I don't think Calzaghe is anywhere near as good as JMM.
