I agree I think Floyd would school him , as soon as I saw the weight of Manny and along with his superstar status I just had a brain fart that said its a huge marketing fight , they could sell it to world very easy as a mega superfight that would create big numbers , also Hatton Manny would be big , Id fancy Manny in that shootout .

Marquez is a big big win, but so was Hatton and Mayweather knocked Hatton out. There's clearly a gap inbtween 1 and 2.

Heck I could even see Calzaghe being at 2 now more then Pacquaio.

Oh, for sure, I was just being facetious.

As for Pac beating The Paler (Hatton)... The Paler is a much naturally bigger man.

I actually thought Pac looked like garbage tonight... the power and handspeed were there, but he was being embarrassingly schooled at times, and, IMO, lost the fight.

Pac is dreaming if he thinks he can beat hatton who is much stronger and naturally bigger than him.

That is the definition of p4p. Its all about talent. Why is Floyd #1? Is it because of how exciting he is or the great fighters he beat? No, because his resume isn't even a 10th of Pacmans. If p4p was all about how incredible your resume will look 10 years from now, nobody would ever be able to touch Pacman, because he came out on top against the best, although ring worn fighter Mexico had to offer.

The fact remains, he is not that great. Morales exposed his weakness. Marquez exposed his weakness. Barrera exposed his weakness in their last fight. Unfortunately for all 3 of these fighter, they were at a point in their careers when they did not have enough left in the tank to effectively capitalize on their success.

Pacman cant box. His people know this. We will never see him in the ring with a real slick boxer because his people know that Pacman will sink like a rock.

Pacman is a warrior, nobody can take that away from him. He has the p4p biggest heart in boxing, but he is not a p4p level fighter. Maybe a p4p level puncher, but he is not very good. He is a fundamentally flawed fighter. Poor footwork, bad balance, severe lapses in defense, lack luster combination punching, neglect of body work, no real uppercut to speak of.

He is a strait forward 1-2 fast power-punching fighter in the same light as Ponce De Leon. Infact, if Pacman was Mexican, he probably would have never gotten the opportunities for any of these big fights that have defined his career.

The real story of Pacman is what he means to the pinoy people. He carries a country on his back.

Pac would blow out Floyd in spectacular fashion. Unfortunately, the weight is prohibitive. Floyd would have to come down to 135. Won't happen. But, Floyd has to fight Cotto or his reputation as a ducker will be forever sealed. I've got serious doubts Floyd will ever put his record on the line against Cotto.

Floyd walked into the ring for his last fight at 148lb, Pacman walked into the ring tonight at 144lb.

4lb difference. If Pacman can make 130, Mayweather could make 140 or 135.

Back to your pre Hatton **** eh Wiley , Floyd would school Pac and stop him at 140 , Pac nearly lost or nearly won against Marquez , and you think he will stop Floyd , your a dreamer buddy that puts hate driven bias ahead of common sense .

Although it was an exciting fight, I didn't see Pacquiao do anything tonight that would put him above Mayweather in the p4p rankings.

Pacquiao didn't win in an impressive way, in fact he was outboxed for much of the fight. I also rate Calzaghe ahead of Pacquiao p4p.
