Castillo beat Mayweather in the first fight and the Drag Queen could've beat Mayweather if he wanted, but he stopped using his jab for some odd reason and gave the fight away.

No way jose! Pac beat Marquez by one point and that makes him the best fighter next to Floyd! Pacfans better deal with it.

Yeah right, are you mental man? Casamayor lost his last fight and lost like every single round and the guy got clearly robbed. And Casamayor lost to a journey man in his last fight, while katsidis is so much more then a journey man.

I look at it like until Floyd loses or retires he's number one. Yes there are questions why he hasn't fought top guys in the WW division, but really only one fight of his has been close unless you count the DLH fight as being close than two. Pac has shown his weaknesses while Mayweather hasn't shown to many.

No. When will people stop trying to put Pacman as #1? He is not even a top 10 p4p fighter. He has a big heart and can brawl, can punch, and loves to fight. However, he can box about as well as my left nut.

He will never be able to box well enough to broach a legitimate p4p list. He is like a bigger Jorge Arce, and to a lesser extent like Arturo Gatti.

Exciting does not equal skilled. People use to over rate Gatti all the time because he was exciting. Pacman is exciting, he can punch, and he is fast. He cant box, he is not very smart in the ring, and he is NOT a p4p fighter, much less p4p #1.

He just won a split decision over an old over the hill Marquez who used his brilliant boxing mind to control Pacman. A Marquez that looked lethargic in his last few fights and tonight.

If Pacman was a true p4p level fighter, he would have been able to pressure Marquez and break him down. Marquez didn't have the juice to deal with any pressure, but Pacman was simply not good enough to get inside on him, despite being in superior condition, being the faster fighter, being the bigger fighter, being the younger fighter.

He couldn't get the job done. A fighter like Jorge Linares would have put Marquez away.

To me, Pacman once again showed that while his defense is getting a little better, he still is not capable of mixing defense and offense, and that is the sign of a true p4p level fighter.

Pac definitely no. 1 p4p because of pure speed, punching power, and aggression. The difference between Pac and Floyd is that Pac likes to fight. Floyd doesn't.

yeah I think castillo won the first fight, but couldve been scored a draw, and a lot of people make that presumption about de la hoya using his jab, but i think if oscar threw more floyd would have adjusted to it. Guess we'l find out in sept

To be honest manny and mayweather arent even in the same league, we'l see what manny does when he starts fighting bigger fighters, i dont think he'l do much as he is one dimensional

                  Is this a joke?

If anything, the #1 P4P fighter should be JMM.

No. I think he's still number 2. And If Joe beats B-Hop some would put him ahead of Pacquiao.
