RICKY HATTON says he was CONNED in his defeat to Floyd Mayweather.

The Hitman claims ref Joe Cortez and the judges turned on him because of his 35,000-strong army of fans — some of whom booed the US national anthem.

Hatton, 29, said: “What the referee and judges did left me a bit p****d off.

“The referee just didn’t let me fight my fight — even the HBO commentators said so.

“In the end I just lost my cool and that’s why I lost.”

There is no dis*****g that Cortez was out of line in that fight. So to some degree I can see Hattons point and he clearly lost his cool, but he should know better.

Hatton is 100% right....those turnbuckles were suppose to be leather with pillow topps to make them fluffy. Instead the turnbuckles were obviously leatherette with almost no padding.

How did Floyd damage Hatton? Floyd layed on the ropes the whole fight and swayed while Ricky smothered his own punches...then finally Floyd cought Hatton running after him. I can see if Floyd dominated him from the 1st round but it was not the case.

He would won handily without the elbows.

He should have been pulled up on it, it's not floyd's fault at all.

Hatton grabbing and holding fighting style was tolerated in England but that **** don't fly on da' states and when he wan't allow to do so he didn't had a plan B. That's why he is and overated boxer that should had never fought at 147 and probably would had lost to Ktasyu if the would had fought in America.
