Cotto really wants mayweather right but then he says " I fight whoever my promoter tells me to fight", come on now, he went to two mayweather fights, mayweather dominated, he went home and didnt say a word, next minute he is matched with gomez, that aint the kinda fight you take if you are trying to lever a big money deal with mayweather.

he's taking the gomez fight because he didn't have anyone else to fight at the time being that floyd so called retired. there is footage here on bs that shows cotto talking about a fight with floyd a couple of hours before his fight with hatton and when floyd was asked about cotto floyd says he's going into retirement
