Cotto isn't ready for Mayweather. When they fight in 09 Floyd will show you exactly that. Now you can say Cotto isn't ready for Floyd but to say he doesn't deserve a shot is ludacris.

what ****? i'm just realistic. yes floyd is the man but this defensive shell that he has been in since he became a welterweight is not going to win him every fight. baldomir is not considered a very good boxer hatton's a bum and oscar was scared to get countered.margarito cotto and williams are all better boxers than baldomir and hatton, cotto and margarito will not be scared of getting hit by floyd and like i said earlier that defensive shell floyd stays in just makes for close hard to judge rounds

Yes and his promoter advised him not to fight Mayweather at 140.

of course! I know that, my brother! It just seems highly unlikely that Floyd Mayweather Knocks out Miguel Cotto....HIGHLY UNLIKELY! Believe me, Shane Mosely hits waaaaaay harder than Mayweather, so does Ricardo Torres. I'd even go as far as saying that Zab Judah hits harder than floyd..and faster too! I'm just saying, with Mayweather having issues with hands in the past, It is highly unlikely he unloads on Cotto. I can see Mayweather boxing around, staying on the outside, but there will be no Toe-to toe. Mayweather "WILL NOT" KO Miguel Cotto.

At least he is only fighting ONE tune up.. Unlike your boy Mayweather who hasn't fought a good welter since he has been in the division other then Ricky Hatton! That's like 3 or 4 years of sorry fights.. How come you don't get on his case?

You gonna tell me fighting gomez is the way to lever a big fight with mayweather? you telling me arum wasnt in negotiations with gomez whilst mayweather was signed to fight hatton? your telling me a shot shane mosley and a shot judah who mayweather already beat were on the same level as mayweather's last two opponents?
