Why does Margarito seem to get a free pass for losing to Williams?

this'll all be finished before the years end.

we'll either be speaking of margarito in 09 or not, exactly what happened with hatton. cintron, no easy task with steward at the helm; then to face cotto if he wins, again, no easy task.

however, quintana - no easy fight for margarito either, that long jab could potentially be in margarito's face all night if he doesn't play the brawler to perfection, those looping shots would be met with counter rights at will against the Q.

Q would have to be a man possessed like he was in with pwill though, i feel though that performances like that are very rare occurances.

Quintana will beat Margarito if they decide to fight. Margarito is running away from Cotto, that's why he took the fight with Williams and the bum lost. Now he has to fight Cintron again, I do see him beating Cintron which in my opinion isn't the best boxer in the world but certainly has a puncher's chance against Margarito.

Running away from Cotto? lol wtf? now this is a perfect example of someone not using plain and basic common sense.

Yes, it's the same common sense Margarito should have used to accept the fight against Cotto at the time, he really thought Williams was the easier fight and he lost, and if they faced each other again Margarito would lose for a second time again! Against Quintana, he will be as confused as Williams was. He better make sure he is ready for the Cintron fight because it will not be an easier fight for him this time around.

dint read any posts but n fights like dat it can go either way, margorito landed harder shots but williams' output was massive compared 2 margoritos, imo it was like pavlik taylor II, pavlik threw alot more shots an connected wit alot more shots, taylor threw tha harder cleaner shots jus dint nearly match tha output pavlik was workin at

Lay off the crack pipe my friend, Margarito fought Williams because Williams had been calling Tony for a while and he was going to get stripped from his belt if he didn't fought his mandatory in Williams. Regardless of the outcome in the past, you all should know by now that Margarito fears nobody and would be more than willing to go toe-to-toe with whatever nikkuh' they put in front of him. W0rd to your MotHa'

*CRUZ has just been sch00led by the ol' plain and basic common sense.

Yeah those were two very similar fights, and although I am a Pavlik and a Margarito fan I saw both of them losing those fights, even though it looked to me like both of them could have won if they asserted themselves more.

I'm not a Margarito fan but to be fair he has fought Golden Johnson (tune up) in his last fight and Cintron is calling him out to seek revenge. He's not like Judah who gets a title shot every fight.
