Why does Margarito seem to get a free pass for losing to Williams?

If Margarito beat all of those guys and Floyd didn't fight him it would be a clear duck. I would say it myself. I don't see Cotto losing to him though. I could see him beating Cintron again and Quintana though.

Tony is getting a tittle shot cause kermit wants revenge, period. Arum is AGAIN promising a fight with Cotto IF HE BEATS CINTRON. Last time in order to get Cotto, he needed to beat PW and he could not. (I gave Tony 4 rounds). A more interesting question that I made on another thread and that was not answer is... "Why Tony declined his top contender status in a fight agaisnt QUINTANA in order to face a boxer he already defeated by way of KO???" ....

Isn't Antonio Margarito willing to fight anyone and is not afraid of anyone??? IMO, it would had look better for Tony to defeat Quintana and with a belt on his waist then challenge Cotto. The worst scenario will come if Kermit beats him this time around. What would his excuse be???

I agree. I hope he fights a real welterweight other than Oscar before the year is over. I would hope for Floyd to fight in July or August and then fight in December but I doubt that would happen. Like Oscar has his plan mapped out. Then again Floyd is only 30. I don't believe the retirement ****.

I don't know what the purse is for the Cintron fight so maybe it made more sense for Margarito to take this fight first instead of Quintana. I don't see your point. Tony took a loss, gave an ass whoopin, now he again he has to fight Cintron to get back to Miguel. Which itself won't be an easy task.

Givin a power puncher like Cintron any more tries then one, is dangerous. That power, no matter how much a ***** Cintron might be, is and always will be an equilizer. I mean he could be a puss, and still smash people lol. Thats the benefit of havin that kind of power.

Dude, the fight against Cintron was brought to Tony before Quintana won against Williams, if the contract was signed in already or close to be why would he change his mind and challenge Quintana when he can clearly fight him any other time? I know he had that 5 day rule or whatever to choose that fight over Cintron but besides the original deal was to fight Cintron and then take on Cotto as was promised by Bob A. Quintana posses no real threat to Tony and if they do get into the ring Tony is gonna beat the living snot out of him, just like Cotto did.
