good videos dude, i would be giving you karma for your efforts, but it won't let me, and proof that hatton was at a huge disadvantage in that fight, fighting cortez and mayweather. the whole fight i was screaming at the terrible travesty of the ref job cortez was doing, it is something that should be brought up, i would go so far to say that cortez should be under review for his performance in that fight as a ref because his work was about as good as a back alley ******** done with a pipe wrench.

i'm more pissed at the ref then floyd, fighting is fighting, but in these case there are supposed to be rules, this isnt a street fight, and the rules were clearly broken by floyd and nothing was done, but hatton gets warned right and left for mostly the **** that floyd was doing, that isnt a fair ref job, that is bias and makes one think that joe cortez was and is on the take. the ref is there to make it a fair fight, if both guys are fouling, so be it, but that is why the ref is there to call them out and to reprimand both of them for their infractions, not pick on one fighter and let the other get away with whatever he wants, that is bull**** and that is injustice and abuse of power in the sport of boxing when a ref pulls some bull**** like that!!!!

Yes Mayweather, runs the fine line of foul or no foul with the use of his elbows but because he uses the elbow and forearm in a defensive manner (all be it, it does give him an advantage) its difficult for a referee to penalize him for it. Making space with the forearm (which the elbow is connected to - for the uninitiated) is not and will never be a foul. All the other stuff can only be taken as the editors strange humour (holding hatton by the ears, crutch sniffin etc) as if they're was this many blatant fouls to the untrained eye there would of been an inquiry by the WBC and we would of most definitely heard about it. All fighters have our crafty tricks inside the ring, - if it works and you get away with it then use it - in hatton's own words "it's not a tickling match"

Also these two videos only show half a story as the video is stopped in mid motion therefore exaggerating the claimed elbow fouls.

Ask yourself something, if mayweather hit hatton that many times with his elbow why wasn't hatton cut to shreds (as we all know hatton is prone to cuts)...

At the end of the day Hatton was beaten, may not have had the ref on his side on the 8th of Dec but some nights you do and some nights you don't anyone still arguing about this is just suffering from "elvis is alive" syndrome.

Hopefully Cotto can take many tips from the hatton fight, as I truly believe the way hatton pressed Mayweather in the opening round is the way to beat FMJ, hatton just didn't have the strength or skill to capitalize on it.
