All I said is that there is no way that Hatton was beating Floyd's face off in the first part of that fight.

Listen, if Hatton was beating the **** out of Mayweather and the referee was stopping him from fighting his fight, after the early stages when Cortez backed off, it should have been a walk in the park for Hatton, right?
Hatton absorbed shots on Cortez's break up and absorbed elbows. The ref set him up for the shots. When they were actually allowed to fight it was Mayweather who was getting chased round the ring taking punches.

You made an error in something you wrote above. You wrote that Mayweather was exposed, but in reality, I think you meant that Hatton was exposed... and I don't mean that in a bad way, I mean it is as in that Hatton does not belong at 147, he was exposed as a fighter who is going to be stuck at 140 for his entire career.
Hatton will be back and if he ever sees this video, which I imagine he will, he'll be back v Mayweather a lot sooner than you think. Trust me on that.

    • And for all those people excusing Floyd for his behaviour or acting like it goes on in every boxing match then you're not true boxing fans you're just a bunch of ****-riders with a man-crush.

I think you are being pretty unreasonable calling other people ****riders when you gave more rounds to Hatton than anyone else on this forum.

Even the biggest Mayweather haters have admitted that Cortez played a minimal role in the end result. Mayweather did the knocking out, no matter what Cortez did.

Its pretty clear from the vid that Hatton would pound Floyd in a fair fight,

Mayweather should've been disqualified FIVE TIMES OVER in the first 4 rounds alone!

If he needs to cheat that much (not to mention his running which isn't featured) just to survive then its clear who the champ would be.

Only a ****rider would condone what went on in that fight.

It was a disgrace to boxing and if you were a true boxing fan and an honest person you'd realise this goes against every reason that we have sport at all.

Its not a fair fight if one guy can do what he wants while the other guy gets penalised for virtually nothing.

If Hatton had done all that stuff and Mayweather had been knocked out in Manchester then we'd never hear the end of it. There would be an enquiry but because Mayweather is worth so much to the TV people we won't hear anything.

It was the second round. Hatton got him, Mayweather was stunned and Hatton was ready to unload and Cortez comes stomping in.

And only a ****rider would give that many rounds to a guy who is not doing enough to win the rounds... even if the reason he is not winning the rounds is because of the referee. Hatton does not get more credit for things he is doing than Mayweather would for doing the same thing, just because a referee is giving him the short end of the stick.

You dont know **** about boxing and you keep on typing the same bull**** that not even the most rabid Floyd hater or the most loyal Hatton fan feels like backing up.

So spare us your definition of true boxing fan and stop crying.

EDIT: Mind, I think Cortez did a horrible job, but I think Mayweather was great at being dirty, that's boxing, live with it or go watch “a tickling contest”!
