As I said before, the real guy to blame for Floyd's unbelievable dirtyness in the hatton fight is Joe Cortez. And against castillo it was also the ref's fault. If it was easy enough for me to see, a spectator, in a small screen, it should have been crystal clear for a ref which is 2 feet away to see it.

He is incompetent and should not be allowed to ref again.

The ref only has one angle, we have many. Look at a Hopkins' fight where he is particularly dirty (Echols 2, so that he also throws more than 2 punches per rounds) and check where the ref is, when hop is fouling to see what i mean. Fighters like Hopkins or Mayweather are very aware of what goes on in the ring, where they are in the ring and so on.

But yes Cortez was pathetic.

Floyd pushes people with his elbows, those are not vicious elbows, it's more of a push to the chest, not to the neck.

Watching that, I ALMOST felt bad for Hatton. I know Floyd bends below the waist and uses elbows, which is illegal. I ALMOST felt bad, then I remembered that Hatton is the dirtiest boxer that I've ever seen in my life......

Floyd was dirty very dirty but if you get away with it why not.

Im a Hatton fan and thought Floyd showed not only can he box your head off he can trech it too.

I lay the sole blame on Joe Cortez who spoiled what was a good fight anyway.

Anyone else wonder why its taken Calzaghe this long to cross the pond if Cortez if the ref v Hopkins he will get butted to hell.
