It was 2 against 1 and Hatton was still beating the face off Floyd for the first 6 rounds.
Truth is, if they stand and fight with no ref helping Mayweather Hatton pounds Mayweather into submission.
Britain's best was gonna knock America's best the fcuk out in his own backyard so they had to set it up.
Well done, but Hatton will be back for Floyd, with a proper ref next time. Watch!

I suppose you're gonna tell me now that Cortez wasn't hugely biased towards Floyd?
This wasn't just a home decision this was a home fight i.e. it was refereed to the home fighter's advantage and was a disgrace to boxing.
Mayweather's worth millions to them though, a cash cow so I suppose the Yanks were protecting their business asset from gettin blown away by a no-name brit.Last edited by Weebler I; 03-05-2008, 01:17 AM.

All I said is that there is no way that Hatton was beating Floyd's face off in the first part of that fight.
Listen, if Hatton was beating the **** out of Mayweather and the referee was stopping him from fighting his fight, after the early stages when Cortez backed off, it should have been a walk in the park for Hatton, right?
You made an error in something you wrote above. You wrote that Mayweather was exposed, but in reality, I think you meant that Hatton was exposed... and I don't mean that in a bad way, I mean it is as in that Hatton does not belong at 147, he was exposed as a fighter who is going to be stuck at 140 for his entire career.
