Against De La Hoya, Whitaker threw more, landed more and landed at a higher percentage. The judges scored 3 rounds for Whitaker.
      The first Ramirez fight... yeah.
Julio Cesar Chavez, it's quite an easy fight to score and just about everyone scored it for Whitaker.

Whitaker was actually very active as a lightweight. He went to the body and stood his ground.

      Whitaker vs Haugen

      Whitaker vs Lomeli

      Whitaker vs Nazario

Joe Louis, Alexis Arguello and Ricardo Lopez are great choices. Virtually everything they did was with excellent technique.

my point is throwing do not mean you are hitting. just wasting energy

im going to have to disagree with the people who say winky..
winky is a master at what he does. i think hes nearly impossible to beat.. Bhop really didnt beat him if you know what i mean.. hes kind of basic tho. very effective. tyte defense, with a solid 1-2.. throw a hook to the body once ina while.. but, he doesnt use a variety.

mayweather i think was better in the lower weight classes.. hes too economical.. whitaker was slick, had sick defense, and just boxed circles around his opponents.. hed make people look amatuerish..

i have to be honest, i havent seen too many ray robinson films, but i have heard that all the film caught of him was when he was a bit past his prime..

Floyd Mayweather has to be one of the most technically sound/skilled boxers I have seen. I dislike him as a person and everything but when he gets in that ring I think we should all feel lucky that our generation has got to watch him live.
