yall who are saying oscar.. please stop..

if you ask me he didnt beat whitaker or quartay... and got a flat out gift against sturm... but that had to happen for hopkins fight to happen... or too much money lost.. thats what gives boxing a bad rep...

RJJ and maybe bhop are only ones who pop in my mind for active fighters with better legacies..

legacies isnt only the record yall... its who ya beat and how bad ya beat em too..

being undefeated with a safe resume dont count.

#8 p4p simply from beating a 32 year old Genaro Hernandez (in the final fight of his career,) and defending it against Angel Manfredy (who never won a title in his career.) Not bad.

Oscar de la Hoya, definitely. Has only been definitely beaten once, didn't try to pad his record coming up, exciting fighter to watch, didn't duck anybody, fought from like 135-160.

I think he lost to Felix Sturm, but you have to remember, that's wayy above his natural weight. Hopkins was above his weight too.

All things considered, Oscar shouldnt be near this list, too many reasons to give but I wont.

What you dont understand is, 135 isnt and never was his "natural" weight, with his size he should have never fought below 147, definitely 140 at worse.

                    I hate Mayweather trust me.

But wins over prime Corrales, prime Castillo and prime Hatton is superb.

And for 6rds v Hatton it was even Floyd showed he could dog and filth a fight out career best.

Should fight Cotto although i think Cotto hits harder than Hatton he has less speed and far forse footwork, it is a legacy fight.

Floyd is great and i am a Hatton fan.

If the Mayweather that fought Hatton fought anyone he anit losing.

Cotto's hands are quicker than Hatton.
