      Hopkins my ass.

A middleweight beating welterweights isn't that impressive to me.

Now, he didn't have anyone better to fight, but he shouldn't get extra credit for fighting in a ****ty division for so long.

Evander Holyfield definately has a better legacy, but he's also been fighting since the dawn of civilization.

Mayweather is only 30yo and has a legacy to make.

Jones has but his resume is full of cans, Hopkins and Calzaghe both 10yrs as champions but also have wholes init.

Remmember Floyd since the return bout with Castillo fought:

Sosa, N`dou, Corley, Brussells, Gatti, Mitchell, Judah. Baldimor and 35yo Oscar and Hatton.

It doesnt scream to me legacy.

He is the man every Welterweight should fear.

10yrs as champion is solid but comon he beat little guys.

                William Joppy.
Felix Trinidad (the high point in the resume).
                Welterweight Oscar De La Hoya.
                One-hit wonder Tarver.
                Itty-bitty Wright.

That doesn't look that awesome to me.

                  Hopkins
                  Jones, Jr.
De La Hoya (world titles in 6 weight classes)

Just my opinion, Oscar and Floyd are probably not as close as I see, Floyd might be better, but I happen to think Oscar's fought the best out there, never ducked anybody and deserves to be mentioned.

Reggie Strickland has fought quite a few big names too.

He won almost as many big fights as De La Hoya.

It is true that Oscar never ducked anyone, but really, he only beat Quartey and Vargas.

There are fights that could have gone the other way, on both sides, but still, he only winds up with 2 or 3 legit victories.
