    Williams Vs Quintana 2

I tell you, some fans are quick to have the winning fighter move on to new things. For example, Pavlik gives Taylor his first loss and Taylor is supposed to be done and Pavlik is supposed to go and fight Calzaghe and all kinds of other opponents when the best thing smokin' was a rematch between the two Marquez-Vasquez-esque......which could end up a triology.

Quintana is the new kid on the block. Just like Margarito and Williams before him, he will have trouble landing the big fights. Williams was willing to give Margarito a rematch after Antonio lost his title. Quintana (if no big fight pops up) should be willing to give Williams an oppritunity since he got one. It's not like Williams had to fight him.

Besides if Quintana expects to get a rematch against Cotto after that embarassing loss, then he should be willing to give Williams a rematch. That's just how it works.

you say nothing of the "fans" that treated Williams the same after he beat Margarito. The hypocrisy is too thick.

All this that your seeing on the forum right now, was exactly how it occurred when Williams beat Margarito but in Williams's favor. Some people just do not like a taste of their own medicine.

Williams definitely could beat Quintana in a different fight.

He needs to do what made him a threat as a fighter. Throw a lot of punches. He didn't do that tonight, and was pot shotted.

The people who think that Margarito got exposed and shouldn't be mentioned alongside Mayweather? They're right about that.

Williams Vs Margarito 2 however would have been a nice rematch since Margarito isn't completely out of the picture yet. Instead of chasing Cotto and Mayweather, a Williams/Margarito rematch would have made more sense. Margarito didn't want it though.

Now as far as Williams, this is his first loss. He was already avoided when undefeated and barely got his shot at the WBO title, only because he was mandatory. Now that he has lost once, he should't be written off. He deserves a rematch and Quintana isn't exactly in the position to be calling out Cotto or Mayweather either.

quintana won this more convincingly than williams did ova margarito.no need for a rematch.he should fight either clottey or loser of cintron/rito,to put himself in a positio for a rematch with cotto.to many good welters for a rematch with paul.

Not true. Quintana faded down the stretch in this fight. Williams while fading, closed out the Margarito fight in the 12th round sweeping those last 3 mintutes remaining.
