I'm just telling it like it is. Paul did not get punished. That may sound nice for a title of an article but it's just not true. Quintana went to distance and the judges swinged it his way in a close fight. And Margarito is not a better fighter. Losing to Santos and a guy Cory Spinks whiped his ass with proves that.
Williams did not get punished by any stretch of the imagination, but it does make for a catchy title. It was a close fight, so let's not get all excited and make up things that didn't occur.

and williams just got punished by quintana so what does that make williams??? btw santos was a solid contendar in a higher weight class that's two fights in a row now that williams has done a post fight interview where he was the only boxer looking like he was in a fight. "paul williams didnt get punished" are you sure buddy???? did you even watch the fight???? i'm assuming you didnt see his face in the post fight interview. that face showed signs of punishment. a ****en right cheek thats no longer black but red. a cut on his left eye and an even bigger gushing cut over his right eye. come one dude your looking ******.

Punished is what I call when a fighter is repeatedly getting tagged with punches looking like he is getting ready to get Ko'd or Tko'd or the ref getting ready to stop the fight because a fighter is taking too much punishment. That didn't happen here tonight.. He was cutt but Hatton gets cutt almost every fight, does that mean he got punished?

I'm done with this......I said my peace keep disagreeing with it if you want.

That's cool we all have our opinions but you find more people then not say he got punished. just because you didn't get ko'd or knocked down doesnt mean you got punished come on man. Paul got his ass kicked tonight! he got hit with all the hardest punches in the fight. Left after left after left with good one two punches after another. those weren't pot shots like you mentioned quintana was putting some force behind alot of those punches. Williams got hi s ass kicked plain and simple.

quintana deserves a re-match with cotto cause he didn't fight that bad,
he was doing good and couldn't continue, quintana dominated williams it was not a close fight......now the williams/margarito was a much closer fight.....
this looked like pbf vs baldomir a wipe-out......if an UD was given to the winner there is no need for a re-match......the taylor/pavlik....pavlik didn't dominate taylor, he caught him flush, clean=....but taylor also sent him to the canvas and had his moments, williams never had his moments......i was routing for williams and i felt bad the first 3 rounds, i was like damn he ain't going nowhere.......

That's just a dip**** way of thinking. A fighter gets knocked out by a bodyshot and deserves a rematch yet a undefeated figher goes to distance winning at least 5 rounds and does't deserve one.

Quintana dominating like PBF did Baldomir???? Man kids these days.

Now that's what I call punished. A fighter looking like he can't take it anymore and the corner stopping the fight for his own good.

                  It was a snuff film.

well maybe pbf/baldomir is too wide, but my point is, in my eyes honestly quintana/cotto he could try but it will be the same outcome,
quintana/williams II they can go at it again and it will be the same,
williams did not hurt quintana once in the fight.....williams got punished he lasted 7 months with the WBO title, that's the spirit of a champ

Oh it could go better in the rematch which is why I think there should be rematch. Fighting a slick southpaw isn't easy. Sometimes fighters don't prepare for that kind of style and never get into rhytm in the actual fight.

And Quintana isn't exactly unbeatable........anything is possible. That's why we have rematches and that's why we have triologies in boxing. To see who truly is the best.
