The guy is 21 years old, has had 16th pro fights, Was fighting Limond and Lawton and stepped up to Graham Earl and St. Claire. Gairy gave an undefeated Corrales a tough time who was a big puncher. Let him have atleaast 20 pro fights

This is who Juan Diaz was fighting in his 16th pro fight:

Michael Davis with a record of 21-10

This is who Joel Casamayor was fighting in his 19th pro fight:

Luis Enrique Valenzuela with a record of 16-20-0

This is who Michael "The Great " Katsidis was fighting in his 20th pro fight:

Jakkirt Suwunnalirt with a record of 5-2

Got all this information from boxrec...

But yeah...."Throw him in with Diaz, the #1 guy in the division and we will see what he is really made of"

    LMAO some guys I swear....
Good post, Kahn's got alot more to do before being able to step in the ring with Diaz ect, but hes young and hasnt fought many fights.
He's done great and is definitly on track, just hope he dosent jump into athe ring with one of the big guys before hes ready.

    • Khan had a good performance last night but still left question marks for me.
He was fast as fook with his hands as usual but there seemed to be a question of what power they carried for me?
Also I don't think Khan was totally responsible for the inactivity of Stclairs'.
The guy was walking Khan down but throwing virtually nothing the whole 12 rounds.
I can't imagine a World class Light-weight at the top of their game not finding the target with the overhand rights more frequently.
Also someone with decent power which St clair is not renowned for is he?
      Or finding Khans body either.
I also can't forget that Khan is still learning but I don't feel he is ready for the Top just yet.
My opinion he is a work in progress and needs to fight some more experienced fighters before aiming at the top.

        • khan is a quick learner and he would knock out Katsidis. He mightnot be able to beat the other champs be he would knock out katsidis.

          • Shocking, that Katsidis was fighting a guy with a record of 5-2 in his 16th fight. Khan is not ready for Juan Diaz at the moment, but I think he would spank Katsidis right now. He is superior in pretty much everything. Not sure about power, as knocking out 21 bums is easy to do before fighting Graham Earl.

Not his 16th pro fight, he was fighting a guy who was 5-2 in his 20th Pro fight!
