We are bound to find flaws in Khans style because he is still virtually a novice but even with those flaws he was able to comfortably beat a guy who has recently held world titles and has fought the likes of Vivian Harris and Diego Corrales.

I am not convinced that Khan is the next superstar but I have to concede that he is a very good fighter who has shown vast improvements in the last year. All fighters are fed easy fights to bolster their records but to take either an Earl or a St Clair fight in only your 15th and 16th fights consequently was very bold and a risk IMO, Khan came through both those fights very easily so.......

To talk about world titles within a year is ****** IMO but he should be looking at European titles and look to improve further.

Take the hype out and judge him as a prospect and you have to concede he is doing well.
Earl was shot to bits, i said that in Global Boxing forum before the fight even happened, Katsidis ended earl's career, thats why khan was matched with him

Khan is good, just not as good as people think, typical frank warren match making, making sure khan fights guys who brawl and only have a punchers chance at best.

He better forget about fighting some legitmate fighters soon, a guy like Juan diaz who isnt that talented who murder khan if he could get inside him, and then you gotta consider that Pac and Guzman could both move up to 135, they'd both Kill khan, also the fact that Khan clearly is not 135, look at him, he was huge last night he cant stay at 135 for too much longer without draining.

I wanna see him fight someone his own size, with a jab, and then we'll see how good he is.

No arguments, in my opinion he is at least a good two years away from fighting the likes of a Diaz etc.

Whether Earl was shot or not, for fight 15 it was a good win and stoppage.

As I said he is a good prospect (for World level).

Yeah throw him with Diaz and Katsidis when he has had only 16 fights. **** me...some people on this board really amaze me. What were Juan Diaz and Michael Katsidis doing in their 16th Pro fights? Find out...

The kid is only 21 years old let him grow with experience

I agree that a lot of the shots were blocked, but at times he was landing some beautiful, fast, straight combinations to St Clair's head and some nice body shots. St Clair was landing pretty much nothing, so did you expect hime to win?

I scored the fight the same as the judges but I gave St Clair round 6.

Seriously okay constructive criticism is good but if you dont like the kid then thats a different story. The guy is 21 years old, has had 16th pro fights, Was fighting Limond and Lawton and stepped up to Graham Earl and St. Claire. Gairy gave an undefeated Corrales a tough time who was a big puncher. Let him have atleaast 20 pro fights

This is who Juan Diaz was fighting in his 16th pro fight:

Michael Davis with a record of 21-10

This is who Joel Casamayor was fighting in his 19th pro fight:

Luis Enrique Valenzuela with a record of 16-20-0

This is who Michael "The Great " Katsidis was fighting in his 20th pro fight:

Jakkirt Suwunnalirt with a record of 5-2

Got all this information from boxrec...

But yeah...."Throw him in with Diaz, the #1 guy in the division and we will see what he is really made of"

              LMAO some guys I swear....

I don't particularly like, or rate, Khan but he impressed me last night. I had him as losing the 6th but he clearly won every other round by miles. He also took a few punches which I expected to have more effect on him after his previous knock down.

He won't be world champion within a year but I wouldn't bet against him becoming one sooner rather than later.

You need to learn how to read, look for the bit where i said 'He better forget fighting a legitmate fighter soon'

John Rawling suggested Khan could fight Katsidis next.

How is Khan gonna be a world champion by next year without Fighting Katsidis or Diaz or Casamayor or David Diaz? unless he fights some ****ing bum for a WBF a'la Audely.

The only people who think he is readly for those guys are Khan himself and ITV, my point is that he may never be ready for some those guys, against Khan no matter how bad you are, you always have a punchers chance cos his defence is wide open, if Wille Limmond can open him up, these guys can to.

                    • FFS sake Michael Katsidis is over rated to ****.
He ain't even a world champion he only bloodey Interim meaning he has not beaten no champion. Joel Casamayor is gonna spark that kid out come march.
For your 17th fight you don't fight people with a record of 3-1-0 and why the hell was jakkirt suwunnalirt even allowed a chance to fight him? the only good person katsidis has face is earl and he nearly sparked katsidis out.
