LOL...Even YOU know that Floyd's resume is not as good as it should be. Remember, he's the best in the world. He should be held to a different standard than anyone else in the sport. Would it be fair for the Patriots to choose to play Miami in the superbowl, because there would be more money for them in that matchup?

no because the dolphins wouldnt be a legitimate opponent...

        ricky hatton is legitimate defense

oscar was legitimate... and it was a split decision... floyds FIRST split decision

so a rematch is legitimate defense at 147, even though none of us want to see it...

your giving personal reasons why he should be stripped.. not factual rules, as to why he should be stripped.

Lets start betting on floydfanatics age

Unlike Floyd fans, football fans can give 2 ****s how much the players are making. All they want to see is competitive games, and watch the best take on the best! Unfortunatlely for boxing, it doesnt always work out that way.

OK rationally speaking Floyd did just defend against Hatton at WW....however he should have been stripped when he chose to move up and fight Oscar and then come back down.....And not of the Ring recognized belt but of his WBC or whatever trinket because if it were anyone else they would have been stripped in that situation.....Fair enough to say?

No thats not fair enough to say... you can go up in weight and win another title... but then you have to choose which one to keep... floyd chose the ww title....

just like when joe moves up to LHW.. if he beats Bhop.. he still has the choice to retain his SMW title.

you have a time period to choose which belt you keep, because you can no longer hold more than one weight class title at the same time, for a certain period.
