Since beating Carlos Baldomir for the crown, Mayweather hasn’t defended his title/s against one single welterweight contender to date. Now he is scheduled to face Oscar in Sept. So, should he be allowed to hold on to his titles/belts as if they were superbowl rings, or should he be stripped due to the fact that he is refusing to defend them against his #1 contender, or any other WW for the matter? Vote!
Should Floyd be stripped of his WW title/s?

It is riduclous to discount the Hatton defense.Since beating Carlos Baldomir for the crown, Mayweather hasn’t defended his title/s against one single welterweight contender to date. Should Hopkins have been stripped for fighting Oscar De La Hoya?
Each had only had one fight at the weight they lost to Hopkins & Mayweather respectively, and in that one fight, they had both won a world title at that weight.Comment

i said this before, yes he should be stripped, i mean you saw margarito had to fight williams in order for him to stay with his WBO which he lost anyways, I believe that should apply to mayweather as well, you just saw casamayor lose his WBC belt for fighting katsidis,Comment

I already did.
Hatton had already won a world title at 147, which is more than his mandatory, Berto can say that he has done at 147.
Hopkins beat Trinidad and it was okay.
Hopkins beat De La Hoya and it was okay.
It is okay for Hopkins to defend against Calzaghe.
Double standard?Comment
