He probably would have ko'd Hatton, since I personally think Cottos jab and power is superior to anything hatton has in his arsenal. And Floyd has broken hands, so if Hatton can't take punches from Floyds broken hands without getting ko'd, he'd probably end up getting really hurt against a puncher like Cotto.

It really depends on when they fought. I think Cotto was still a very flawed fighter at 140 but the fight could easily go either way. I would lean towards a Hatton UD but it would have been a fantastic fight.
