News flash: Cotto kind of ****** at 140 compared to what he is now. Just too green.
Another news flash: Hatton was a hell of a lot better in 2005... he has been going down hill lately.

You have lost your mind.
I said compared to today... do you really think he would have had a life-and-death challenge with a fill-in opponent who didn't prepare for the fight today? **** no. He would beat Torres up just as much, without talking one quarter of the punishment he did.
Cotto has learned to play defense since he moved up. He has learned to use his really good jab.
Back at 140, Cotto was less cautious, and he paid for it. He was green, that's all there is to it.
Back a few years ago, Hatton was a better fighter too. The way he dismantled Kostya Tszyu was really good, and he has slipped since then. Back in 05, I think Hatton would have beaten Cotto. Today, Cotto would dice Hatton up.Comment

come on, cotto was ko'd a few fighters that went the distance with floyd. one, if i remember right was corley, who almost had fm out on his feet. You have lost your mind.

He didn't have FM out on his feet. Mayweather won that round even though he was ****ed by one punch.come on, cotto was ko'd a few fighters that went the distance with floyd. one, if i remember right was corley, who almost had fm out on his feet.

Cotto KO'ing fighters is a testament to his power, which he has always had. It doesn't play to his defense or technique which is what he has greatly improved on since he moved up.
Also, today, I think Cotto would lose a hell of a lot less rounds to Paulie than he did back when they fought.
Cotto has greatly improved... that's all I'm saying. How can fans disagree with that?Comment
