    I didn't say he was mediocre... I just said his style changed for the better.

    It's true.

    Brawler -------------> Almost a hybrid of boxer-puncher/swarmer.

    He's really good now. REALLY.

    Back then, he was good, but that was about it.

      Im not sure where this came from that Cotto has changed. He really hasnt.

      It seems as if even HBO forgot about the Pinto fight, where Merchant and Steward both praised Cotto's ability to be effective boxing and brawling. They even thought that Cotto was hurt in the fight once he started to back up and box. The same exact thing they did in the Mosely fight.

        I didn't hear a thing about Cotto's jab before the Judah fight.

        I don't know... it just seems like Cotto has figured out a more effective way to get on the inside if he feels the need, and can actually do some good work on the outside, even better now.

            Well even if I did dream up a style change...

            He is clearly less wreckless than he was a few years back at 140.

            Corley and Torres hurt him... and say what you want about how good they are... they are not better than Shane Mosley. Mosley is much more accurate, quick, and probably has at least the same amount of power as those two, considering he has moved up so high.

            The other half of the equation, that everyone refuses to respond to, is that Hatton has slowed down and gotten a lot more sloppy in recent fights.

            Back in 05 when he was fresh off his win over Tszyu, he was a much better fighter than he is today.

                3you said to imagine judah cracking cotto at 140

                4 castillo fought at 135 his whole career and i always thought hatton was garbage even before he got knocked out by floyd
                2 It is a clean low blow, you can watch any tape/video/angle and you will see it, stop taking your bias all the way to your eyesight.

                3 I said imagine whatn ZOO would have done to cotto at 140.

                4 Bull**** again... stop typing lies. Castillo had plenty of fights at 140-147. In the past few years, he shrinked down to 135 for title fights only. Not interested win what you thought about Hatton, that message was for 'Teca.

                    There is this thing called boxrec, which is sometimes useful.
