Cotto dosen't have a glass chin....he had a suspect chin at 140, he was badly hurt several times and knocked down, but his huge heart pulled him through.

I think Cotto left his suspect chin behind at 140....he has shown a good chin at 147, his chin passed the test against two big punchers in Mosley and Judah. I think the reason Cotto wasn't taking punches too well at 140 was because he had to kill himself to make weight, that can effect a fighters punch resistance.

It's not his heart so much... it's his recovery. Fighters with heart fight hurt for minutes at a time. Cotto gets hurt, and stops being hurt 15 seconds later, it's incredible.

It's a bit of a stretch calling Mosley and Judah big punchers, don't you think?

True, but zab did rock him 2 or 3 times so I still think his chin is suspect. We'll see when he fights gomez should be a good fight.

I don't see Gomez as being a big puncher. I think he's decent, but not that good. Kind of like his apparent doppelganger, Jesse Feliciano. I think he could give Cotto a good fight because he's technically solid and has a good chin, but I see him getting stopped late or taking a battering en route to a decision loss, somewhere along the lines of 117-111.

had they met at 140 a couple years back.. around the time of the collazo fight... hatton would have made short work of cotto... Now.. at 147 early KO by cotto...
