Depends on the nature of the fight. Ndou-Malignaggi is BS. Malignaggi wooped Ndou and Ndou was never once in the fight.

Pavlik was nearly KOed, and came back to win. Taylor was also winning at the time of the stoppage.

This rematch makes all the sense in the world.

    DLH-MAYWEATHER does not.

And its not all about entertainment. Casamayor-Cruz was a terrible fight, but everyone wants that rematch to happen because Cruz deserved the decision
    co-signed!! perfect

because people actually care about pavlik and taylor. because pavlik and taylor actually still matter in boxing (whereas, odlh does not). Because floyd calls himself a champion in the most talented division in boxing, yet does not defend his championship status against the best of his division, but instead chooses to fight a guy that is 8 years past his prime for the second time.

      That is why.

Oscar is already in the books as an ATG, but he is clearly on the decline after losing 3 (arguably 4) of his last 5 fights. He doesn't have the stamina to fight a full 12 rounds any more and hasn't for a long time. He's clearly lost a lot of his speed and reflexes and some of his power and just isn't nearly as exciting to watch as he used to be. You can't use poor judging in the first fight as an excuse for a second since Floyd wasn't robbed. There is absolutely no reason to think that the outcome of this fight will be any different than the last, with the exception of the margin of victory being wider.

yes floyd clearly won a close fight.
          pavlik clearly won his fight.

you dont think that the inactivity issue being flipped this time around will make the fight more intresting. the fact that floyd had a good knockout victory in his last fight might change his style in this fight?(probably wont happen). or what if floyds hand problems catch up with him, he goes into hand theropy during training weekly.

              1. They had a rematch clause anyway before the bell even rang for fight #1

              2. It's a fight most boxing fans would wanna see again (including me)

Floyd's hand isn't that big of a problem. The 24/7 series did a good job trying to give Hatton an advantage going into the fight so the public would think Floyd may get hurt ( ). If Floyd's hand was a major issue he wouldn't be fighting at all.

                      ok.. so let's state facts...

Floyd/DLH 2 is not even close to the best fight for Floyd from a boxing perspective. FACT

Pavlik/Taylor pretty much had a pre-assigned rematch, and Taylor could excersise the right, at any time, to request that rematch. FACT

It doesn't matter if we, as boxing fans are ok with Pav/Taylor 2 or not... It had to happen. FACT

Floyd/DLH did not HAVE to happen.. Floyd chose to make it happen to make more money, and avoid fighting prime fighters.. (ok, that one's more my opinion than anything else, but you get the point)
