I still think Pavlik's power is devastating when he loads up. He even said on FNF that he pulls punches to set other punches up.

Miranda on the other hand looked massive in the ring against Banks, so his power might be better a this weight. But theres no doubt at 160 his power was overrated.

      Yeah it's bad wording.

But Miranda hit Pavlik with several right hands at the end of the first round that made him buckle temporarily and stop throwing punches.

There were also moments were you could visibly see the effect that Miranda's punches were having on Pavlik despite him coming forward and exchanging.

Because last I checked, he broke Abraham's jaw and that led to what should have been a stoppage in the fight............when Abraham clearly said "No" when asked if he wanted to continue at the end of their respective fourth round.

Oh and he traded punches with Pavlik in a FOTY candidate. Both guys laid it all on the line and Pavlik took a beating as well as the obvious Miranda.

I dont think Pavlik took a beating,he got hit flush with some shots but came back with some hard punches,i had him losing only two rounds,i think Miranda took the beating,he was taking too many shots,IMO,Kelly hits harder, hes the harder puncher

He takes a steps up and loses? He beat abraham convincingly imo and got robbed of the middleweight championship.

Cheap-shots don't work when the one doing the cheap-shotting can't tell you anything about yourself that you don't already know and aren't ashamed to admit. Well played.

I like the conviction in these statements. I wholeheartedly believe the former, and would like to see the latter proven true.

I think Abraham was fortunate to escape that bout with his title, definitely.

The Abraham fight was close definitely, but I had it 1 round to Miranda. Fight should never have gone to scorecards either, when a jaw is broken a fighter is finished, and when they say they no longer want to continue, I dont know wtf was going on when they let that fight continue.

that comment makes miranda look even poorer, it means he was moved back and bullyed around the ring by a smaller man lol what a looser.
In my opinion taylor is bigger than miranda and when taylor stood next to pavlik he looked tiny. pavlik has a far bigger frame than miranda, miranda may mave more muscle but he will always look and be smaller than pavlik

No he wont. Miranda is bigger physically. Its easy to see, even now at Supermiddle he dehydrates from 168 at the weigh in to over 180 pounds and still is ripped. Hes a natural supermiddle, maybe lightheavy who dehydrated himself to make 160, a few years back that might not affected him because he was young, but he got bigger and it became verry difficult for him to make 160.
