And the point of this thread was to point out Miranda's punching power. Who cares if he's knocking out bums. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how massive of a puncher he is, maybe the biggest in all of boxing P4P.

Miranda never had Pavlik on ***** street, he hit Pavlik with his money punch several times and Pavlik came right back at Miranda unphased...No one is dis*****g the fact that Miranda is a massive puncher, he just happens to get all these spectacular KO's over BUMS...when he steps up and takes on elite fighters like Pavlik and Abraham he gets beat.

The Miranda hype was dead for a little while after he got destroyed by Pavlik....Miranda KO's a Contender Bum and now the hype is back.

If Miranda hit Pavik like he hit David Banks, there is no doubt Pavlik would have never gotten off the canvas.
The night they fought in Memphis, Pantera had nothing in his punches. You could see it from round 1. I dont care what anyone says, at 168lbs a rematch would be a different story.

Miranda has MORE power at this weight and looks much healthier. Pavlik like someone said, is a great volume puncher and will wear anyone down over the mid to later rounds. But he has been floored and almost out by people with a fraction of the power of Edison.

Miranda hit Pavlik 5 times in a row with all he could give and still couldent budge him,if u ask me,Pavlik is the more devastating puncher,Miranda couldent KO Abraham when his jaw was broken,nor Green,i think were going over the top with the Banks KO

Sure he hit Pavlik clean. We know Pavlik does not have an iron chin.
We know Miranda has more power than Taylor.
The only logical fact why Miranda did not hurt Pavlik is he had no power in his punches do to him being ill. You cant deny it.

Good post, Melly-Mel. Yes, Pantera is visibly wobbled early in the Pavlik fight.

I don't think anyone doubt's that Miranda has power, he just hasn't won the big one yet.

I mean he busted Abraham's jaw early and fought 7 rounds and couldn't touch it again. I thought he was a finisher. He did find some room to work below the belt.
