There's a slight stench of been-there-done-that on this for me..Don Tremblay of Main Events of has just contacted BoxingScene.com to inform to use that Kermit Cintron vs. Antonio Margarito is a done deal for the April 12 undercard to Miguel Cotto's defense of the WBA title against Alfonso Gomez at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. [details]
It's somewhat meaningful, but not exactly thrilling.Comment

ok its a good fight, and it will be fun, but to those who are talking about williams moving up are mistaken. Williams will be at 147 for a while and will not leave until he is the undisputed champ. Sorry guys. Your favorite fighters are not going to get it so easy. At one point or another they will need to face down the long barrel of a gun pointed at them from the Punisher.Comment

The heat and pressure that Margarito brings to the table is and will always be too much for Cintron to handle. If Cintron could barley take a smaller Feliciano has to dish out, what do you think Margarito would do, again? I honestly see the same result as the first fight but with Cintron lasing a little longer due to experience. Margarito TKO 9 Cintron. Good fight while it lasts, but the pressure that Margarito brings overwelmes Cintron again.Comment

LOL. I don't share that opinion about Margarito, but I really do understand it because I feel the same way about certain other fighters.Comment
