Is this undercard fight going to be at the same location - AC?

If so, I'm very much thinking about going. It would be my first boxing match. I live 1 hour away from AC

This could be VERY good news. The winner gets Cotto. The winner of Cotto-winner gets two belts and recognition and enough moneymaking power to have Mayweather fight him.

In all of this Mayweather keeps on growing into 147, and does not need to potshot by the time he faces them, and we could actually get to see a good fight. Mayweather will be 32 by then. His speed will have gone down a little bit by then, too, making the safe fight option a bit more difficult.

DOWNSIDE #1: It might not go llke this. The Clottey deal as someone said, might be lurking there.

DOWNSIDE #2: It might be the case that Williams has to move to 154., Also, he would be in any case left out of this "tournament" to get to Mayweather. Unless Haymon makes somehow fighting Williams a condition to get in the ring with Floyd.

Anyway, should be a great fight and will set up an even better one with the winner and Cotto. Then, since the winner of that one will be the undisputed champ, will set up an even bigger unification bout with Floyd or Williams.
undisputed champ? With only two belts? And the WBC and lineal title in the hands of another fighter? Not quite...

Why would somebody want to have a nightmare twice?

Last time I checked, if a fighter has two of the 4 major world belts, and they are the only one at that weight class to have two belts, then they are the undisputed champ at that weight class.

for what it's worth, this is how I remember it:

Maybe you are thinking of the way ring magazine assigns its belt, when it is vacant. Or that in the 70s, the two main bodies where only two.

Well I try not to use Wikipedia as a source ever since DD changed a few web pages to suit his argument, but just this once:

Unified champ, if that's better for you:

"The WBA refers to a champion who holds the WBA title and one other title as the unified champion."

                    from your source.
