The point he was making is that Dawson is a good boxer but looking good at a lower level is easier, do you really think calzaghe would drop his hands to someone who is just as fast as dawson? and chad dawson is not that elusive he does get caught alot. Its a fight i'd love to see tho.

Calzaghe dops his hands when hes fighting anyone. He did it with both Lacy and Kessler and Kesslers speed is way underated. I think its just a habit. Also, where does Dawson get caught alot? He is a defensive specialist.

Yeah Dawson is a defense specialist. In his fights against Adamek and Mendoza he basically ducked and slipped almost everything they threw, the only question remains is his chin. We don't know if he can take a punch from a big hitter like Diaconu or Pavlik, but he does have excellent defense so he rarely gets hit cleanly. None the less their is going to be times where Dawson will need to take a punch.

no, but he would be fighting a suspect chinned Dawson. I pick Roy by UD with a couple of knockdowns. Dawson hasn't impressed me as of yet. I want to see him in the ring against a real fighter than I will judge but from what I've seen so far, jones would take care of him easy........EASY.

Ademek was an undefeated WBC champion that was 31-0-21 KOs when Dawson beat him. Talk about chins, Roy has a china chin. Its laughable how people try to discedit that victory and act like Ademek was some bum. He was a tough hard hitting skilled fighter from Poland. You saying that Roy would beat him at this stage of his career period is already funny, but you adding on the the laughter by saying that he would beat him easily is hiliarious. Prime Roy wouldn't beat Dawson easily if beat him at all. I see that you are a fan and its good to support your fighter but you have to wake up at some point and face reality.I like Roy and would root for him in any other fight besides this one.
