Nah Dawson just wants recognition. If he had fought his mandatory Adrian Diaconu instead of pursing the other top contenders then he would get the recognition he wants. But now he has to wait till April 12 for that chance, which is a long way from now. I mean Pavlik and Taylor fought on the same day as Dawson's last matchup and their already fighting at February. Really Dawson should be fighting right now, especially if he wants to prove his doubters wrong. Roy wouldnt make it 12 against Dawson. It is a bad fight for him. Stick to calling out Pacman and Vic and Roberto Duran.Comment

Dawson would beat Roy, Tarver, and Calzaghe and im not being biased. Just look at his style. He is a classic text book pure boxer puncher that is an elusive slicksouthpaw and one of the best counter punchers in the game right now. IMO he puts on a masterclass against Tarver and possibly stops him, knockouts Roy because Roy is simply past his best, and decisions Calzaghe in a chess match. As I've probably said before, I think Chad is a 'work in progress' - he has a lot of tools, fast hands, reach and he seems fairly ring savy. I hope Joe fights twice after Bernard (if he wins) once against Kelly / Jermaine and then against Chad (if he beats Johnson). The only thing hanging over Chad at the moment, is his chin, he had what he calls a couple of 'flash' knockdowns, if he can prove he can eat the big shots when they get through his defence, the man is going to go a long way.Comment

]No offense but i cant stand it when people make false statements like that. What fight tells you that he cant take a shot? He was never seriously hurt in the Ademek nor the Harding fight. He got up and continued to dominate so please, watch these fights first.He also can't take a punch.

Weather you like it or not but Dawson beats Calzaghe. He takes the fight with his counter punching, speed, ring smarts, and boxing ability. Here is the video. Someone tell me where Dawson was about to be knocked out because i didn't see it. I seen him get caught and going down with a good shot when he was not looking but getting up and finishing dominating the fight. He was pretty hurt. Not the first time either. Anyway like I said I think he's very good. That's one of the hardest fights around for Calzaghe, but I doubt Dawson would win. Not because he can't take a punch (although that never helps) but because he is'nt ready for that level. Calzaghe's work rate would overwhelm Dawson just like it has everyone else. Calzaghe throws everyone off their game and Dawson is still green.
