I have this quote saved for floyd haters like you. its a list of floyd's best fights.
Genaro Hernandez - 38-1-1 when they fought and WBC SFW champ.
Diego Corrales - 33-0 (27 ko's) also Ring #1 Jr Lightweight and #5 P4P when they fought.
Jose Luis Castillo - Ring #1 Lightweight champ and WBC lightweight champ when they fought. and was later ranked as high as 7th on the ring p4p list.
Arturo Gatti - "Too big too strong for floyd. floyd is gonna get rocked by Gatti's powerful punches and there is no way Gatti could possibly get ko'd by mayweather cuz he has faced much more powerful punchers and he can take punishment like nobody else"<---what everybody thought at the time. and Gatti was the ring #2 jr welterweight when they fought.
Zab Judah - was Ring #1 Welterweight Champ(4 months prior to their fight) and IBF WW title holder. Ring #10 on the P4P list 2005.
Baldomir: Rated #1 WW and Linear Champion when they fought
Oscar De La Hoya - just came off a win on mayorga. mayorga beat vernon forrest twice. Vernon Forrest beat mosley twice. so, needless to say dlh wasn't a past prime fighter and had all his skills intact. was 1999 P4P #1 over #2 Roy Jones Jr. also was 2002 #1 jr mw, 2001 #1 jr mw, 1999 #1 ww, 1998 #1 ww, 1996 #1 jr ww, 1995 #1 LW.
Ricky Hatton - 2005 #4 on the p4p list #8 when they fought. #1 jr ww. ricky hatton was not a blown up jr ww cuz that would make mayweather a blown up super feighterweight. and hatton walks around at 185 between fights so no excuses. This was a fair fight no matter what anyone says. Hatton came off a ko of castillo and 11th round stoppage of Kosta Tszyu. This win is extremely underrated by mayweather haters.Last edited by -Swizzy-; 01-25-2008, 06:24 PM.Comment

People like you that are obsessed with undefeated records is part of the reason why we're having FMJ/DLH II instead of FMJ/Cotto or FMJ/Williams or even Cotto/Williams for that matter. Hatton's undefeated record is not really that impressive when you consider he's been ducking Witter for about 7 years now, and he didn't seem to want any part of Cotto at JWW.
In response to the above post, Floyd could have tried to fight Cotto (who had 6 suc title defences at JWW) at JWW, then he wouldn't have to fight him now (a tougher fight.)
Didn't Arum say he wouldn't let Cotto anywhere near a ring that had Floyd in it? I think they would still have to fight now because everyone would say Cotto was green when they fought (which he was) and he is a much better fighter now.Comment

People like you are obsessed with lies. You are just mad because Floyd beat 2 undefeated fighters who were ranked in the Ring magazines top 10. And its hard for you to discredit & lie about it. Your attempts to discredit Oscar & Hatton are pathetic. Hattons undefeated record had impressed enough to earn him 2 titles in divisions, the recognized JW championship & the 8th spot P4P.Comment

That's like asking your home team, who's winning by a large margin to keep scoring goals in extra time. Yeah but he could do it once or twice more. Or perhaps not.. I'm afraid he's entering an "Oscar retirement plan" which is ****ing sad. Anyway he doesn't deserve half the heat he's getting here in any case. There are much worse examples of "Oscar retirement plan" out there.Comment
