then he outclasses him but at least he's outclassing opposition that deserves to be in there, don't get it twisted fam I have no hate in my blood for Floyd, it's actually the opposite and I want to see him shine but I'm the kind of Boxing fan that stays neutral when it comes to fighters, out of the ring Floyd seems like a cool dude but IN the ring his last few fights as impressive as they were they didn't have no grounds to happen, I'm not saying Floyd CAN'T beat Cotto, anyone can beat anyone under the right circumstances, I'm just saying that if anyone it's Cotto he should be fighting next and that De La Hoya shouldn't get the rematch, Forbes isn't a worthy enough foe to qualify you for a Welterweight title shot against the man in the division when there are currently ready and worthy opposition for Floyd to go threw, Oscar's jumping the line and it just ain't right. if Oscar wanted a rematch he should have gone down the Taylor route and got it immediately..
bottom line if Floyd beats Cotto which he IS capable of even though I would pick Cotto then all applause but I can't give the same kind of applause when he's fighting someone in September of THIS year whom he already beat in May of LAST year, someone who lives off his name and account balance and not by his actual world rank, he hasn't been a pound for pound fighter since 2003 yet suddenly he can just jump at Floyd when he was even lucky to fight him the first time? the attraction is Floyd here, Oscar needs Floyd to be great again at this point, he needs Floyd so he can have another mega fight, word to mother not even a De La Hoya-Jones Jr fight would do as much as the first Floyd fight and to see Floyd actually going along with it grinds me yo.. if Floyd outclasses Cotto then better for him, I'll be mad and happy in that fight no matter who wins because I like them both but fighting the Hatton's and De La Hoya's of the world ain't doing too much for me, Oscar just don't belong there, he made the money already against him, milked him for what he's worth and now it's time to move on so I'm having a hard time digesting it, I will eventually but **** man this ain't the fight that the fans want to see..
