Anyone who tries to say Floyd hasnt fought the best just exposes themselves as prejudiced hater against Floyd. Simple & plain. Or they actually believe that Hatton, Oscar, Judah, Mithcell, Gatti, Castillo, Hernandez & Diego are not top fighters. Then this just shows they dont know boxing.

Thats really a subjective question. I even being a very big PBF fan can say I don't agree with every move he has made but his opponents are not as bad as people try to make them out to be. To be honest no fighter in probably in the history of boxing especially in the modern can say its nobody that they didn't fight. A fighter can be named for every fighter and it can be said they should have fought so and so.

Yes I know some will have more than others

Hatton & Diego were both undefeated & recognized in the top 10 P4P by Ring magazine when floyd fought them. What 2 undefeated top 10 ranked P4P fighters has any other active fighter fought?

                I have before.

                Hatton P4P #8 43-0
                Corrales P4P #5 33-0

In all honesty, Floyd fought the best at some weight classes, and not so much in the other.

He definately fought the best at 130.

He fought the best guy at 135, although there were some other loose ends that he could have fought, he claims that they wouldn't fight him.

At 140, I firmly believe he fought Gatti to become a PPV star, and then his intent was to fight Tszyu, but Tszyu ****ed that up, and I have heard that Hatton's people said they weren't ready for a Mayweather fight at that point. Even so, he definately cannot claim that he fought the best at 140.

147... the only name he should have previously fought (instead of Judah coming off a loss) was Margarito. Cotto and Williams have both just come into the limelight after the Hatton fight was signed. Now, if he fights De La Hoya, then he is in trouble, because he has dug a hole so that he definately needs to fight Cotto, and most likely needs to fight Williams.

People like you that are obsessed with undefeated records is part of the reason why we're having FMJ/DLH II instead of FMJ/Cotto or FMJ/Williams or even Cotto/Williams for that matter. Hatton's undefeated record is not really that impressive when you consider he's been ducking Witter for about 7 years now, and he didn't seem to want any part of Cotto at JWW.

In response to the above post, Floyd could have tried to fight Cotto (who had 6 suc title defences at JWW) at JWW, then he wouldn't have to fight him now (a tougher fight.)
