This is as bad as when people kept saying "Tyson is back."

What is "back"? showing signs of your once greatness and beating somebody you should beat?

You guys need to watch tapes of the young Roy.

He can still win, he still has speed in his hands, has some pop, and is smart, but he isn't "back" to the real Roy Jones Jr.

truth is Roy opened a lot of eyes but so did Tito, I picked Trinidad to win solely on his power and Jones Jr's KO prone chin, Trinidad didn't land flush and he didn't let his hands go which in my analysis I stated that if he doesn't do that Roy should wreck him, thats EXACTLY what happened, notice how early on Trinidad let his hands go and got the better of the first 6 rounds, had he continued this fight would have been much more competitive, once Roy started confusing him he folded, he was thinking more than punching, moving but not throwing and he paid the price..

bottom line shouts out to Roy Jones Jr for a job well done but Felix Trinidad is a legend in my eyes, he has NOTHING to be ashamed of, the ones who should be ashamed are those people who walked out of the arena and didn't stay long enough to cheer on their guy, fake mother****ers
Yes I did, but now I am saying that I was 100% wrong. I thought Tito wouldn't carry his power, he did. I didn't think Roy would change his style, he did. I didn't think Tito was coming to win, he did.

I underestimated both Roy and Tito. I am genuinely impressed by the performance of both men tonight. If Tito drops down in weight, he can still make a huge splash in the lower divisions.

If you actually read what I said, I said he stopped trying to be the Roy of old, because he can't do that any more, and instead he made a new Roy tonight, a Roy that ANYONE fighting today would have a very difficult time beating.

Exactly, and when was Roy a fighter to go in for the kill? Never, so I don't know why people are saying "He's not back, he didn't go for the kill".
