do i believe cotto deserves a shot at floyd? you damn right i do. he deserves a shot at floyd. do i think floyd deserves all the bashing and name calling like ducking and coward and etc? hell no. he deserves much more credit than he gets from people on this forum. if this fight takes place and floyd beats cotto, then i can see all of the excuses piling up from people on this forum like they usually do after every mayweather fight. people try to save themselves by trying to get logical all of a sudden, yet, they contradict themselves at the same time. not saying you, because you gave a good point. but, all i was trying to explain in my long ass post was floyd is not a ducker, or a coward and he damn sure doesn't fear a margarito or a cotto. i mean, floyd worked his whole career to get to the place he is now, and he predicted this would happen. now, i'm sure he doesn't like the hate and criticisom he recieves from the world abroad, but he's learned to overcome the overwhelming obstacles placed upon him by hateful people. people who claim he brought the hate on himself, which is bull****, because a fighter of his unique skill gets respected, not for his personality, but for his skill level, which is the best in boxing and has been imo since 1999. cotto is a legit fighter and i want to see this fight, but not in the manner by which people on here see it. i focus on the actual skill level of each fighter, from what i've seen thus far, and focus primarily on this trait. people on this forum call floyd a pot shooter, and claims he runs in his fights and claim he would run against cotto, and other cowardly junctions he would do or so called do, which is unfair, because you get the title of being the best p4p fighter in your sport by running, and if you do, then there's something wrong with the sport as a whole isn't it?

floyd is the best today and has been for years now, and give the man some respect for crying out loud.
once upon a time Michael Nunne was p4p #1, then along came James Toney the UNDERDOG who KNOCKED Nunne out.

Same thing will happen to maywether, if he ever stops ducking Cotto which he very wisely may not.

For some reason I cant quite picture Floyd hiding in his bedroom biting his nails thinking about Miguel Cotto lol.

Theres always someone that people say can beat Mayweather. However, Mayweather has always ended up beating them convincingly.

Then again, who does Cotto talk about?? He always just sais "I'll fight all the big names". Sometimes I wish he would just ****ing talk freely.

And to address the subject I do think that PBF has a fear of fighting Cotto. He derails any questions that come up about him, and refuses to admit that Cotto is the man to beat. Im sure he'll choose to fight Mosely or Judah (again) before he fights Cotto.

Cotto is too much of a risk for "Money" Mayweather. He may decide to move up to light middleweight next year, and fight some old or shot fighters in that weight class. Or, he may fight someone smaller like Pacquiao.

But he will never fight a prime top welterweight.

I am really starting to think so, but I have no idea why he would be scared of him. Elusive undefeated fighters who have rarely been in trouble in their careers shouldn't have anything to be scared of IMO.
