Floyd is boring as hell when he fights but far from scared. The guy is p4p one of the most gifted as well he is one of the most intelligent. Because he does not make any of his fights exciting doesn't mean he is afraid. He's just smart enough in the ring to keep the action out of it and give himself the best chance at winning without regard for the fans.

We as a boxing collective will never utter Floyd's name alongside those of Ali, Ward, Holyfield when it comes to courage in duress but we also can't think he's somehow scared of anyone...that's just silly

we all wanna see Floyd fight cotto... but to be honest.. Floyd see's himself on top and a perfect 10.. while he looks down on cotto and see's a 7... he thinks cotto has to do more,he has became a superstar, now cotto has to become a superstar.. i think MM is thinking, shoot,Cotto why dont you beat PW,AM and Oscar,to fight me.. or it aint happening..

Floyd has done all the fighting in his career, and now he's at a place where he can call the shots. Cotto fans think Floyd was just put in the top spot by beating nobodies for some reason and it's hilarious. Floyd had to fight to get there and people forget that.

Cotto has to fight now and I've been saying this for months. 1 year 2 lost in a row Zab is one thing. A 36 year old Mosley is another. The opponents will only get tougher from here on out.

Opps my bad,Guess Not since he chooses to Fight Gomez now....

Isn't every WW that's relevant scared of Paul Williams besides Margarito? I know he is fighting Quintana but he(Quintana) already has a lost and has no shot at getting a Mayweather fight!!!!

Well unfortunately none of us are mindreaders, and that's really the only way to know for sure.

Floyd Mayweather is not afraid of Miguel Cotto. you can't be.....if you're in the game of boxing. "BUT"...if Mayweather drops down to another weight class, he is "DEFINATELY DUCKING" a bout with Miguel Cotto.

So if he stays at welterweight and never fights a top 5 welterweight, which he still hasn't, that isn't ducking? Use some plain and basic common sense, will ya? The man is obviously scared of any real challenge.

Of course! Doesn't take a G.E.D. to figure that one out! Cotto VS Margarito "WILL" happen...this year! Cintron will get Williams/Quintana winner...and the winner of these...is next to fight Mayweather. There won't be any excuses then.

I don't think floyd is ducking him neccisarilly more than going after more money which most of us agree on he is after the money, what i do reject is that cotto is not a big enough fighter for mayweather to fight, people can say he's not a superstar but he's more of a superstar than Henry Bruseles, Sharmba Mitchell and Carlos Baldomir.
