Yes. People will look back and Joe's career and they remember names like Chris Eubank. Bernard Hopkins is a big name, Chad Dawson is a Champion, he could be another Lacy.

Hopkins is just that, a name, have you seen the taylor fights? i agree dawson could turn out to be another lacy, but if you can come up with 3 names in over 10 years as champ.....thats quite sad

These days it is like that though. Floyd doesn't have many names, neither did Jones. It's just the way it is.

Presuming he beats Hopkins it would be like this.

        Calzaghe
        Hopkins
        Eubank
        Kessler
        Lacy
        Reid

        Doesn't look bad at all.

        Mayweather
        De La Hoya
        Coralles
        Hatton
        Judah
        Baldomir

        Jones

        Hopkins
        Toney
        Ruiz
        McCallum
        Hill

He can go toe to toe or he can outbox his opponents.
He may not excite some fans but the problem is with his hands there.
He has had to adapt to hit lighter.
          Yet he still wobbles guy's.
Too may people put emphasis on the Manfredo fight which never should have happened just like RJJ v Tito.
Manfredo was just a stepping stone to the next Target and gain some exposure in the USA.
He has beaten the best available at 168 so who can he go after next?
What could he do to make you think he is any good?
If he Knocked Wlad out you still wouldn't be happy.
Great post...could'nt have put it better...

He's had a lot more than "3" names during his reign in order these were all quality opposition. Eubank, (Prime) Reid, Sheika, Woodhall, Veit, McIntyre, Brewer, Mitchell, Lacy, Bika, Manfredo and Kessler.

"Thats called a natrual boxer" NOW TO COMPARE WITH JONES HE WAS **** HOT ASWELL!! BUT THERE WAS NOTHING NATRUAL ABOUT HIM, ROIDS UP TO THE EYEBALLS,Sorry if anyone is offended. Just M.O
No he only took it before the hall fight and it was not straight roids. It was a roid like substance(that was banned by the IBF) found in something called Ripped Fuel, it's still sold at my local GNC today.
