Again check that record, and again, it took JC 10 years to do what David Haye did in 21 fights, why, 1)promoter 2)he went to the other guys back yard

He took on Kessler, He doesn't need to fight a young Dawson now he's already taken on a young Champion in Kessler. Now he needs the big money fights, the legacy fights. He needs names, he needs Nard.

Theres been alot of trash talking between Jones Jr and Calzaghe fans lately and i just wanted to try to clear a few things up.
              Really?

That's unfortunate. Both are great fighters. Both have great speed. I'd say right now Calzaghe has the advantages with stamina, chin, and youth in general. Calzaghe was very impressive vs Kessler. I thought he would win less convincingly if at all.

Give credit where credit is due. Both Roy and Joe was great fighters. Too bad they couldn't meet prime for prime.

                he's special until proven otherwise.

jones jnr didnt wanna come to the uk when he was on top of the world.

hopkins pulled out of the fight years back.

it's a shame that the great boxers of today fear losing so much. we would have had fights like benn, eubank, watson, toney, jones jnr, hopkins, nunn and mcclelan vs each other.

Politics. Ottke tied the division up for many years and had ZERO intentions of fighting Joe. We all know this is an easy win for Joe, unless Ottke got a ridiculous decision which he has on several occasions.

Calzaghe has cleaned out the SMW division over the last decade and beat all of his mandatories, plus young champions in Lacy and Kessler who over half the people here picked both to beat Joe.

Calzaghe has proved all he needed to and since he's 36 and fighting only two more times it needs to be against contemporaries like Hopkins and/or the Tito/Jones winner.

Hopkins brings money sure but do you really think beating a 43 year old whos been done twice by Taylor is going to do anything for Calzaghes legacy?

Yes, both fights with Taylor could have gone either way, plus Hopkins has beat Tarver and Winky since and is ranked ahead of Calzaghe in Rings' P4P ranking.
