Is Floyd Mayweather an All-Time Great?

Shoe In for top 20. If he were to dominate 2 legitimate welteweights next the way he made a fool of Corrales, id put him in the top 10. thats just me.

He is an ATG but not near the GOAT. There are 2 people that I think I would even have him as the underdog in his best weight class 135lbs. He isn't even the greatest 135lber of all time but he is definitely an ATG and for better or worse his name will reverberate with those of yester year.

PBF's biggest fault is that he lacked a GREAT rival at one of his more natural weights 130-140. He won but they were possibly too easy wins for the most part. He needed his Pryor or Arguello.......he did'nt have his Duran or SRL, he didn't have his Hearns or Hagler.......just that we were never able to really see him against another truly Great fighter. Its not really his fault but something that the other greats had the furtune of having.

Do you consider an ATG a guy who's best fight was against a blown-up 140 guy?

Do you consider someone as ATG when his resume lacks names like these.

Freitas, Casamayor, KOstya, Margarito, Cotto, WIlliams, Cintron.

Those 2 questions are answerable by PLAIN AND BASIC COMMON SENSE.

We don't need a rocker scientist to know the answer.

OK On that I sympathise... I mean I realise how Silly these Mragarito fans can get... To say they overestimate their guy would be the understatement of the century..

I believe Floyd mayweather is an ATG talent..But in terms of achivement I rate him Much lower.. Not even top 20...

Question 1: No... But, who said that was his best fight? You? Hatton was definitely not his toughest or best competition... Hatton is a bum to me, hyped by many here who decided to say things like "blown up 140 guy"...

Question 2: Yes... If his talent level, undefeated record and skill set prove to be on ATG status... When Floyd retires, is in the HOF and we are all too old to tyoe on this forum, will any of us really think "Oh well, he never fought (any of those guys you named)"... NO... Only if one of them builds themselves to an ATG level will we even remember that Floyd never fough them...

SO Hatton was a bum to you. Ok. That's your opinion. I consider Hatton as an elite who simply was too undersized at welter.

SO the next question is. If to you Hatton was not the biggest fight of Floyd... then what is Fake FLoyd's biggest fight then?
