TRUE, but he signed the fight before Judah lost to Baldomir, at the time in which Judah was THE 147 king.

I agree. Hatton makes Mayweather fight at least.

that may not have been warranted. Hatton wasn't really on the map... until he called mayweather out. The close weight division champs makes some sense if the WW division wasn't stacked.

By the way, I'm not blaming anyone for the fight happening. I just think it was a silly money driven matchup.

You think May vs Shane would do better numbers than May vs Cotto? How do you see the fight vs Shane playing out?

And you are ducking Shane if you are fighting Hatton?

Prime, unbeaten ring champ OR 36 years old who didnt win a title fight in ages? Hmm...

I think it was the best matchup in which we will ever see Mayweather, because Hatton's style (fast hands and feet, gets no your ass in no time, no matter where you are in the ring) would have left Mayweather no choice but to fight. It looks like I was right.

Mayweather displayed spectacular footwork because Hatton was coming in fast and looking to do so from angles, and GREAT inside skills (too bad everyone is too busy scraaming "check hook" to notice the really intresting part, we already knew Mayweather could counter like few).

Yes, he did, or they had already set a date for it. Sorry.

And your point is moot, sice he beat Baldomir right after.
